Malawai Puerh Tea
Established in 1923, Satemwa Estate in southern Malawi produces both coffee and tea including handmade orthodox tea. The plantation itself employs a large number of people in the region and has numerous programs to support the well being of its staff. Programs include a health clinic, a program for community policing, sporting activities, and even runs a primary school with about 900 students.
Satemwa Estate is also committed to the environment and sustainable farming demonstrated through training programs for workers and community members as well as certification by both UTZ and the Rainforest Alliance.
