Four Seasons Oolong Description:

Produced in Nantou County, Taiwan, this lightly oxidized oolong is very light and aromatic. Grown at 800 meters, this balled oolong is a blend of several harvests over multiple seasons. It is not baked, but stored in vacuum sealed bags prior to blending to preserve the fresh flower scent.

This is a complex oolong with aromas of  flowers such as lily of the valley and jasmine.connoisseur-color-75x75.gif

Four Seasons Oolong Asian Style Preparation

Asian Style: Steep 6 grams of Four Seasons in a medium size Gaiwan for approximately 20-30 seconds and pour off into a small pitcher and serve. Infuse 6-8 times adding 5-10 seconds for each infusion.

Step 1:
Preheat mug with boiling water, discard and refill.
Step 2:
Steep 1 flat tsp or 3-4 grams of tea per 8 oz of water.
Step 3:
Steep for 3-5 minutes as desired. Experiment with slightly cooler water or shorter steeping times. Try one additional steeping if desired.

    I have tried several different varieties of oolong from several different companies. Four seasons brings about the quintessential flavor profile I that comes to mind when I think of how an oolong should taste.
