These fun, hand-rolled, black tea pearls are produced in Yunnan Province. Black Pearls are produced from smooth light Chinese black tea with a slightly sweet aroma with no astringency. This tea finishes with a slight lingering sweetness that sticks with you.

I can enjoy this re-steeped several times. I've only had it with a typical Western infusion but I see an Asian style preparation listed that I can't wait to try. The taste is light yet still very much black tea, the mouthfeel is smooth with no drying after affect.

I bought Black Pearls in the "sample" size. What a delight! This is the smoothest black tea. It is simple, smooth and tasty without being bitter or overly strong. I found myself reaching for Black Pearls three times this week when I made my morning tea. Absolutely nothing complex -- Just a pure pleasure. Definitely my new favorite.
